Secretary: [email protected] · 07510 417479
Self-funded patients can book without a GP referral, however, please ensure it is a Hand & Wrist condition as all appointments are chargeable. Insured patients should obtain authorisation from their insurer first (see Insurance below).
New patient checklist
Bring: photo ID (for medicolegal clients), insurance membership/authorisation (if insured), GP referral (if you have one), medication list, and any previous imaging/reports and consultation letters. Please wear a short-sleeved top for hand/wrist examination, and bring any splints or devices that you use.
Insurance & self-pay
We work with Bupa, AXA, Aviva, Healix, Vitality, WPA and other major insurers.
Insured: contact your insurer for authorisation before booking. Provide your membership and claim numbers at check-in.
Self-pay: no GP referral needed. We can provide package prices on request.
Fees & billing
Consultation and procedure fees are explained at booking. Insured patients’ fees usually follow insurer schedules but you may have a policy excess to pay, please check your policy details. Self-pay quotes include hospital, surgeon and, where relevant, anaesthetist costs but won’t include initial consultation or follow up consultation fees.
Cancellations & running late
If you need to cancel or rearrange, please contact the secretary as early as possible so we can offer the slot to other patients. If cancellation is too late, there may be a late notification or did not attend charge.
Accessibility & chaperones
All sites have step-free access and disabled parking. A chaperone is available on request; please mention this when booking and during the consultation.
Aftercare & rehabilitation
Hand therapy or physiotherapy is arranged when indicated; we work closely with specialist hand therapists.
Forms & documents
If you’ve been asked to send scans or forms, email the secretary above.
